O_O
Airplane seemingly intact, not terrible weather, yet roll angle approaching 90 degrees!
My aerospace engineering education and experience did not prepare me for figuring this out.
EDIT: Watched the video a few times:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Left turboprop looks feathered and is spinning slower than the right turboprop. If a left engine failure occurred, the pilot would reduce power on the right engine to maintain yaw control. If that reduced power isn't enough to maintain altitude, such as required to fly over a bridge, the pilot may instinctively throttle up. Only throttling up the right engine causes left roll and yaw.

LOL oops. Fixed it!

Nine people are killed, from what I found out. :c And that was not the first time that particular airline crashed at that spot.

It JUST happened so awaiting official findings of course but I'll be very interested to learn what the cause of the crash was.

Just edited my comment with my initial thoughts.

Really? Not the first time? Is the approach/departure sketchy in/out of Taipei?

Oh, not exactly crashed at the same spot but around the area. And I thought EVA AIR's initial approach back in 2002 was weird.

If I didn't already know this was real, I would have easily declared this a fake.

I think you're on the right path. Reliable sources (read: wikipedia ) are saying the left engine flamed out. It was right after takeoff, so the plane would have been climbing at close to full throttle, so even more thrust differential when the left prop was lost, and more resulting roll and yaw.
Plus, no extra altitude to get it stabilized doesn't help.
It literally just happened so we'll have to wait for the investigation. Meanwhile, just in the hour I've been watching the wikipedia page, the body count has gone from 12 to 19...

Here's the two dashcam videos I've seen.
Plus one of the early stages of the rescue.

no idea, i would say so tho, it looks as if it went across the engine bay. he's probably the only guy in the world whos been hit by plane while driving

while being pretty messed up i;d say thats survivable. i couldn;t imagine what that was like.
